restoring the old, creating the new

Welcome to the exciting world of Glass Heritage!

Here at Glass Heritage, we fabricate custom glasswork that beautifully accents your environment. Whether it is stained glass, fused glass, painted glass, etched glass, glass mosaic or mouth blown glass, we create extraordinary glass. Service and quality are our benchmarks.

We pride ourselves on custom work and site specific applications.

We have designed and fabricated glass art for a large variety of locations, including ecclesiastical, commercial and residential. Glass work by our staff can be found in 27 states and 8 foreign countries. Assisting architects, designers, builders, homeowners, churches and businesses in enhancing their environments with glasswork is what we enjoy. Our glass art is designed to add a new dimension to your space.

We pride ourselves in our use of a variety of glass genres: stained, leaded, painted glass and mosaics in traditional methods; fused, slumped (bent), etched, and blown glass; and an incorporation of these forms either individually or in a mixed media piece. Our artists and craftsmen  are devoted to working with you to create pieces specifically for you and your environment. With over 45 years of combined experience, our glass craftsmen can translate your design concept into a glasswork of quality and distinction. We hope you will allow Glass Heritage to be your Glass Art solution.

Our studio is located in downtown Davenport, Iowa, USA. We are a fully accredited studio member of the Stained Glass Association of America, and we specialize in glass art, architectural art glass work, religious windows and interior design pieces. We are also certified in the restoration and preservation of historic stained glass, through a program at The Campbell Center for Historic Preservation.

With a studio space containing a 3000 sq ft stained glass work shop, a hot pad, with a 300# Stadalman furnace, 2 fusing kilns, sandblast glass etching & carving cabinet and room, and 7 complete work table spaces for leaded glass commissions and restorations, we can accommodate glass work of any scope. Not only do we have the facilities for restoration work, but we also have the necessary knowledge, training and certification for the restoration and preservation of historic stained glass.

Please feel free to contact us at any time. We will be more than happy to discuss your needs and find the glass art solution that best fits your needs.
